Current market values

So I'm sure we've all noticed the values of our 7's increasing over the last 6-12 months, along with quite a few other Jap sports cars. The question is do you think they'll plateau at any point soon or just keep rising as there is less and less about? I've seen various RX7's ranging from 7K up to 25K, so what is a 'reasonable' price?

I agree i think theyve doubled in the past 12 months...but i think theyve overshot by a small margin atmo...theyll plateau out and and increase by a percentage year on year i think.
Mines at the bottom of the scale lol..but as a track car its still worth more in bits...which was the fate of jdm cars up til prob 2 years ago..its changing though i do think about its worth as a whole and at some point i feel it wont be a track car anymore and ill restore it as best i can to track set up fd..not because of its value but how id feel if i crashed it. And i drive it for fun on the limit and if crashing it factors in that im no longer on the limit ill retire it.

My 85 FB was valued by the insurance company (agreed) last Aug at £9k. Mostly original with 60k on clock & good condition, it has trebled in value in 4 years!

I've been keeping an eye on various sites, and apart from 7's, things like Nissan GTR's, S15's, some S14's have shot up in price, and the R34 V-Specs are going for 50k plus on some sites! Even my '92 FD (which is in need of a rebuild) is worth nearly what I paid for it 11 years ago! As much as I'm planning on keeping her, it is very tempting to sell her and get my house sorted! (I daren't tell the missus else she'd be selling it behind my back!

£190k for a Group B RX-7 FB anyone?
https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/mazda/rx-7/1985-mazda-rx-7-works-group-b/8212835
This was the vehicle on display at the Mazda UK Heritage Museum, that some of us saw at the "Mazda Fans Weekend" in 2017. Fantastic car, but £190k

Was that chassis number MRT019? Its basically new, never racer, always been in showroom. Yes, I would pay that
But I thought that it was sold to private owner...?

Who would buy a "mazda" for that price £190.000?... not a chance. More likely about the range of £20-£30,000.
