I like the \'clive\' blue - seen a similar colour on an Mx5 and it looks good.

Nice project. Looking forward to see her run :)

Rules for this series are a minefield, I even spoke to the guy at Brands who wrote them and he struggled

They raised the rules to 500bhp to accomadate a heavy 500 bhp GTO and set no lower weight limit for Super GT so we should be fine.

Yes its "that" turbo and Carl knows very specifically what I need from the engine to race it how I want to,  the engine will be built with capability of 550 bhp then we will run it at a "conservative" 400

Already talking to Turblown about the manifold

It should be a good piece of art work in the engine bay.

What size wastegate will you be running? 60mm tial?

Are you going to be running the 18" rx8 wheels or dropping to 17"?

Iv got loads of questions but will ask them one at a time on here rather than asking you a million questions on the phone when I pay for the manifold flange later this week.

One at a time, staying with 18" so as not to alter the geometry but will alter gearing with the diff ratio

Clive, something like this would make a nice weapon for that series:

Was about to link to that - caught a bit of the Grand Am race from Miami on MotorsTV where this beauty was racing.

Apparently in the previous race it handed the Porsche and Ferrari entries a lesson!

Clive,

So the secret is out, please let us know when/where you are running and maybe we can get a few supporters to come along.

Ow, come on, this is a budget racer and an over 2k clutch would be money spent in the wrong direction :chat

I wanted a clutch assembly that has very low inertia so the clutch below is on order from Mazdatrix has a super light fly wheel and a Quartermaster 4.5 diameter twin plate
All the best Clive
