Hi, sorry to topic skip but how you plug in the fan relay? How is it activated to turn on? I've gone efan too but its hard wired in and always on.

as above really:

1) a pair of 1000cc injectors, top feed, high impedence

2) OMP "O"ring / gasket for 13BT (mine leaking)

3) ecu kick plate / cover for fc

4) fd oem fan set

epracing have one.
else keep checking ebay as they come and go from a seller in china.

i had a shine auto one but was very flimsy structurally as it only had 2 surfaces and broke easily.
i bought one from china which is a solid wing but hollow inside. much stronger and cheaper.

you'll easily see 400 with that set up.

not a very technical reply but most people i know running big power use bosch 044.

i had 374bhp (fly) with bosch 044, 550cc pri, 1680 secondary inj which was more than enough fueling and the secondaries didnt even break a sweat.
you'll have the same amount of fueling as me so you'll be fine


Do these settings look right for running 550 primary, 1680 secondaries? More concerned why there no percentage figure for secondaries also latency figures. Any constructive input appreciated. Its ap engineering power FC for fc3s.

I agree the forum does seem bit quieter these days. When I first joined, it was very busy.

Maybe there's enough Info on the site to solve most common problems with rotaries? Developing internet where solutions can be found on other websites?

Makes me wonder, if all the old boys retire from rotary rebuild/ tuning eg super 7, RX motors, ReWorx etc then who will replace them as specialists? I've not come across any new tuners.

After lots of searching i've found the following but need confirmation from a more knowledgeable person if you'd be so kind :)

OEM primary & secondary inj: 550cc / latency .73msec
Bosch 1680cc inj / latency .45msec (@14v)

so the setting adjustment i need on the hand commander for the 1680's are:

To work out injector size correction
Old SIZE / New Size = Correction
550/1680*100 = 32.7%

To work out latency:
New Latency - Old Latency = Latency Correction
.45-.73 = -.28

If that is correct, then i now need to know which injector numbers these need to go into?
