Plenty going on tonight:

I\'m finishing off all the (relatively) small jobs.
Brackets, ducting, etc. Then the car\'s going to be good to go.

Here are the brackets I made for the front fenders.
In carbon fibre, of course:

Three layers of carbon fibre either side of a 5mm foam core.
Super lightweight and very very strong but a :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: to bolt on with the rollcage in the car. Good job they won\'t have to come off often.

With the front fender on, but without bolts:

Next, the oil cooler ducting has to be made. Ducting the oil cooler air out the side of the nose infront of the front wheels.
Here\'s one oil cooler:

Here\'s the very start of the ducting mold:

Not seen your car Mark. Is it shown here in this forum?

The wiring is DIY. Midnight oil kind of thing.

It\'s not pre preg, I make my panels with resin infusion.
Similar end result in terms of strength and weight to pre-preg. Harder to get right but saves on buying a £20k autoclave. Lots of professional composites companies use infusion for cost limited runs.

The front arches only weigh 600g each!
