I ran a 14.143sec@98.3mph when we were at York earlier in the year. I hoping to do better this year.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

She\'s new, freshly imported from Japan.

Cant wait to give her a run on the quarter once the warmer weather comes round :-)

Yep, the pain is always going to be shifting from 3rd to 4th - it always seems to be right on the line for a stock TII.  (Some seem to be able to hit 100 in 3rd, others have to be in 4th)

As Brett said, the problem is the gearing, 3rd/4th happens at just the wrong time (i.e. about 0.5-1 second before you cross the line) 3rd is revving too high if you keep in gear and 4th you drop out of the power band

Loud? Hell yes! :D

yeah thats the prob i had to be honest - you run out of puff in 3rd and you change up and cross the line

only thing you could do is change up early and hope 4th will pull .. HARD !!

i ran at 15.07 and it was a stock car with the centre cat removed and thats it

wondering what the auto will do - as that is happy at 112 in 3rd :D

so i only need to change gear twice ( 1-2 and 2-3 ) :D
