Mazda rx7 fc3s wanted.
« on: May 05, 2017, 10:01:41 AM »
Hello guys,

Hope we are all well, Ive joined up to see if I can re live my youth with regards to owning another RX7 FC3s.  I had a couple at the age of 19/20 including a convertible and a couple of coupes and the coupe is the only car I've ever regretted selling and still miss it to this day... I've reached that time in my life where I need another Mazda rx7 fc!! :-)

I do recall these like to rust!! And if not looked after or stored properly can become a real nightmare so I'm not looking at any rot box's or £5000 fc's that need welding AND engine work... I don't mind some welding as this is to be expected but I am after genuine examples please no rot box's And must be reasonably priced as it will be a project.

I know it's a long shot as there isn't that many left now but as said I would like to re capture my youth so I will keep looking.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,

Drew.

 :welcome: to Mazdarotaryclub Drew,

Obviously haven't got to tell you that this Rotary thing is a drug  :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

Seriously whilst it does not seem like you need help, if you find adverts and want us to have a second look before you get serious, feel free to do so  :great:

I would suggest you have a better chance of finding a Cabriolet as in most cases these seem to have been closeted more than the Coupe.

Hope this helps
All the best Clive

Thank for the Welcome Fellas, much appreciated.

Yes Clive you are right I was mad to give up the Rotary habit some 10 years ago...missed it ever since that's why I need to find one to fill the little Rotary void. :)

With regards to the convertable no sadly it has to be the coupe, that's where my heart lies.

Really appreciate the offer for the once over top man!! I hope I get that far Clive!! :-)

And boosted, it has to be the turbo model as the N/A does nothing for me buddy.

Kind regards,

Drew.

Just to add, the project car will be took back to oem the best I can with the parts available.  It's not going to be drifted no bodykits etc..more OEM.

I've had a look in the garage as I could have swore I saved some of my parts from the last 7 and I've found a few parts... exhausts wings dials etc also found the alloy bonnet that came on the vert as I remember the coupe bonnet being quite heavy. So off to a good start..  :occasion14:

As I remember Tim had a few sheds full of RX cars.. lucky man!!

I will try and dig his number out and see what's what buddy.  But I've got a feeling even the not so good cars still hold a premium with Tim..

Much appreciated,

Kind regards,

Andrew.

I've left you a few pm's buddy without a reply.

I know this is a big ask but I don't sopose anybody lives near Bridport in Dorset? I've seen a FC for sale but it's a 16 hour round trip for me to see the car.  If somebody was close to said area and wouldn't mind having a look at the car for and letting me know the findings that would be really appreciated and well worth a drink.

Please let me know if anybody on here can help me out. And il pass on the owners address.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,

Drew.
