Had some fun with the sohn adaptor i fitted back in beginning of year...after my last track day it was evident it was not putting any oil in atall...well after taking in on and off loads came to conclusion shaft supplied short by 5mm...got no dice from seller so made my own...seems to be dosing now...got some bubbles rising so needs a few drive cycles to fully purge..
Just as well i premix...

That's a really odd one Jon - cue for jokes about needing a longer shaft  ;) :)

I woke up at 3.15 am and stared at the ceiling...if i want to scratch an Fb itch itll have togo....there no room in garage....and the fb cant be left outside nor can the Westory....my head is all over the place...i think the timing is just not right..... :sign0085:

Maybe sit down and work out the fun factor between the Westy and the FD and decide which one is the most enjoyable also bearing in mind ultimately you will make the FD faster one day with the added Single Turbo, where-as the Westy has reached the end of the project and will require huge mods to go quicker ?
All the best Clive

I have to agree with Clive, event thou it would be sad to see her go... Westy would need full chassis rebuild, chassis mods and rearend swap. Thou it would be interesting project, it would take lots of money and massive amount of work...

Last year I talked to dude who just fully rebuilded his Locost/Westfield/Dunnowhat. He said that it would have been easier to do brand new car. And everything was to get that car from 1.30 min lap times to 1:27min range... Including new 1000cc bike engine in it...
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.
