Hope your well and thanks for the picture  :great:
Yes excellent write up better than previous offerings about the car.
You probably know but Simon Kremer of the original proper Rotechnics adapted the 13B into the Corvette
All the best Clive

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

So, here is one reason for me and bro turn out to be rotorheads. Local race girl Minna Sillankorva (blonde) with her GR:2 FB. Later she got MRT GR:B car.

Article is from 1984 Monte Carlo and that other pic is from 1984 ThousandLakesRally

I have tryed to find Minnas old GR:B for years now. Seems to be impossible mission cause know one remembers its chassis number.  I have reason to believe that its one of the early ones...

We have reason to believe that its that car, which was on sale about 4 years ago in Belgium. 80k € asking price. I think it was chassis number 007 or 009...

All MRT cars I know at this point:
-2 @ UK(SilverFernRcing)
-2 @ France(dont remember companys name)
-1@ Rod Millen
-1 (chassis 019)@ mazda heritage center, currently on sale
-1 @ NZ on sale
-1@ Aussie on sale
-And this one on sale

Yes it is the original one apparently. There was only one I believe.

The Octane article says that an original GM rotary engine has been found and Tom Falconer has it, so we can hope that it will be even more original in the future.

The rotary corvette or GM rotary engines or even GM holding a Wankel license does not get a mention in the Jan Norbye Wankel book, but that was published in 1971. GM bought a Wankel license in 1970 and the rotary corvette was 1974, so GM may have been too late to get a mention

I believe it is at Claremont Corvette in Snodland Kent.
http://claremont.corvette.co.uk/

I should call them to see if it is there and can be viewed before you travel.
