Hi all We have an old Mazda rotary that needs to be resprayed. The body is straight but some rust repairs are required. The respray needs to be both in and out. Paint needs to be factory colour.  Any recommendations for a bodywork/paint workshop?  Cost and time are important factors.  Note: Not interested in working with people [...]

^^ Nice pic - huuuge rear tyres!Just found a pic of myself, Gwyn and her sister, parked up at Thruxton race event in 1982. One of the more memorable cars I owned, and wish I still had. I'm sure you guys will recognise what it is

True, only two were originally brought here. Those two have now vanished, no one knows where they are. Only one remains, imported from germany about 15 years ago...

Thank you for the replies so far. I have read quite a lot of positive comments on tim @ RX motors so I will probably speak to him about my rebuild.

I imagine that in any country that drive left-handed cars, there will be some FDs available for sale.

I should add that all my dealings with Tim have been great. He's gone out of his way to source some FB parts for me in the past.

I would not consider anybody other than Tim @ RX, I believe him to be the best!   I used a local recovry guy (Exeter) to pick up a FC from Gorsham area recently & could not fault, I travelled with him in the Truck, I can give you details if required.

I'm not sure about Dragon doing rotaries any longer either. Used to see them and their cars at shows frequently up to about 5 years ago, but not seen them since.I can't think of any rotary engine specialist in the south west. The nearest to you would be Tim White at RX-Motors in Salisbury?

Hopefully I'll be getting the engine in my rx7 rebuilt soon. I'm just wandering if anyone has suggestions or recommendations on someone to rebuild in the southwest area. I'm from Okehampton, Devon and don't mind travelling a bit too go to a reputable garage/builder. The nearest to me is dragon performance but I'm not sure i [...]
