Also another over sight is the dipped beam bulbs. Rx8 is HID's. Luckily all it involves is removing the W/B and P/W wires from the grey plug and splice them into the mx5 plugs and run new earth cables. Bit of a ball ache removing the loom again but want to keep it neat. The pics show what the wiring differences areSent from my SM-G965F using Ta [...]

Still making good progress. Bit of a milestone today with powering things up Only things I've buggered up so far are wiper setting 1 & 2 are wrong way round.Boot popper doesn't work. Think I know what it is.But fog lights work, indicators work, side lights work. Wipers work. Not sure if fuel gauge is displaying correctly. Sent from my [...]

If the lenses you have were  "I know the current lights were imported from the USA by a previous owner" then they should be for LHD vehicles?

I have just changed my lights on my FC, (the reflective material was turning brown), I could of purchased new (MRIIs  the same) with the lense in the glass, but instead I upgraded to the new version with the lense in the reflector, WOW 40% better with same H4s.   The Tape for EU driving blocks the part of the beam that would dazzle o [...]

Yes i agree with a h7 or halogen or hid but the old h4 lamp the beam is generated by the lamp not the lens. I learnt the hard way. Not saying the fc has h4 i dont know but pretty much every car 80s 90s had h4s fitted just something to investigate. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Having taken many RHD cars to the continent, On the EU equivalent to the MOT the headlights have always been checked to ensure they were for LHD vehicles, the lense that deflects the beam is in the glass or on modern cars the reflector, I have never had to change Bulbs?.

Hi Jon,Going to be a challenge find the grip limits in qually  but don't worry I raced on 10" wide slicks for years and any of them normally take two laps to get them alive, which is why you see so many first corner accidents The Allcomers series I may do a couple of weeks after are rolling starts, so I'm not worried by that but [...]
